Dear Resident,

Over the past few weeks, we have seen an increase in youth related activity in and around disused buildings within the area and again today we have responded to 2 such reports.

Firstly youths climbing on the scaffolding at Knoll mill, Greenfield and secondly youths on the roof at Kinders mill, Greenfield.

On both occasions the youths had fled prior to our arrival so they haven't yet been identified or spoken to.

While some of these buildings are derelict and others are currently under construction, all of them present significant risks and hidden dangers.

We kindly ask that, if you believe your child may be involved, you speak with them about the serious dangers of entering such sites, for their own safety and wellbeing.
